With Lombard Rally Bath less than two months away, it will be good for spectators o have some ideas where to go.
Firstly, you are very welcome to join us at Bath Racecourse on the late afternoon of Friday 18th to see the cars arriving, or from 8.00 a.m. on Saturday morning to see them start – first car leaves at 8.30a.m.
We recommend spectating at Cirencester Park, which is off the Stroud to Cirencester road, just on the edge of Cirencester. The organisers have arranged all sorts of attractions in addition to the entrants’ cars – amusements for the younger visitors, food and it will be possible to purchase a ride around the stage in a rally car in aid of our Charity – Mission Motorsport. The first car arrives at 10.00 a.m. so get in, get parked and find your spot to spectate before that. Entry in advance is £5.50 per head – find us on Eventbrite or click on the ticket link on the front page of this website. The cars will have two runs around the stage, there will be a chance to get up close to the cars and drivers between runs.
After lunch, Parc Bryn Bach, just off the Heads of the Valleys Road at Tredegar is another good spot to spectate. Again, the cars will have two runs. First car is due at 2.45p.m.
During the morning there will be two Passage Controls in South Gloucestershire where the cars will be stopped for a short time – at Williams Automobiles at Horton and at the Severn View Service Area, beside the “old” Severn Bridge.
Finally, the Celtic Manor Resort on the edge of Newport, where the first car will arrive at around 5.30p.m. topark for the night,
